Dell AIOps: PowerStore Onboarding Overview, Cybersecurity Onboarding
Summary: General procedure on how to onboard a PowerStore array into Dell AIOps (CloudIQ), Cybersecurity Onboarding.
Instructions
Dell AIOps Overview
Dell AIOps is a no-cost, cloud-native application developed by Dell that uses machine learning to proactively monitor and assess the overall health and performance of Dell storage systems and Connectrix switches. Dell AIOps provides intelligent, comprehensive, and predictive analytics to help IT teams maintain system performance and reliability. This guide outlines the steps and requirements for enabling Dell AIOps on Dell PowerStore systems.
Cybersecurity Overview
Cybersecurity is a feature in Dell AIOps that provides an inherent, simple, and reliable solution for cybersecurity risk assessment. It provides an ongoing risk assessment on selected security configurations and setups.
Dell AIOps Prerequisites
Before onboarding your device to Dell AIOps, ensure that the following conditions are met:
- Users who log in to Dell AIOps must have Dell Support credentials
See How to Register for Access to Dell Technologies Online Support or Upgrade an Existing Account
- All devices used with Dell AIOps must be under a ProSupport (or higher) contract to successfully send data to Dell AIOps
To check for ProSupport coverage, enter the service tag for devices on the Support Services & Warranty page
- All appliances in the cluster must share the same Location ID or 11I_PARTY_NBR.
Cybersecurity Requirements
To access and use the Cybersecurity features in Dell AIOps, the following additional requirements must be satisfied:
- PowerStore system must be running an operating system version 2.0.0.0 or later.
- The user must be assigned the Dell AIOps Admin role to enable access to Cybersecurity features within Dell AIOps.
- This role is automatically assigned to the Administrator of an organization as defined in MyService360.
- Only Dell AIOps Admins can assign Cybersecurity roles to other Dell AIOps users, including themselves.
- Advisors and Standard Users are automatically assigned the Cybersecurity Viewer role.

Accessing Dell AIOps Portal for First-Time Users
Access Dell AIOps by going to https://aiops.dell.com in your browser.
-
Log in to Dell AIOps using your Dell ProSupport credentials.

- When a new user logs in to Dell AIOps, they step through the following onboarding screens.

-
Dell AIOps retrieves the systems that are associated to the user's site IDs based on their support credentials. Click Continue.

-
Once the command finishes, it shows a Success screen.
-
Upon logging in to Dell AIOps, the user sees all systems that are successfully sending data to AIOps. In situations where the user has not successfully configured any systems to send data to Dell AIOps, they are directed to the Connectivity page in the Dell AIOps UI where they see their Dell AIOps-compatible systems. The user must then complete the configuration steps provided at the beginning of this article for PowerStore.
NOTE: If the message "No CloudIQ Compatible Systems Detected" displays, see article 123790:
