Come modificare le password MySQL 4.4.x:
PASSAGGIO 1:
Linux
Creare un file hostnames.conf come riportato di seguito e inserire quanto segue:
Esempio: #cat opt\APG\hostnames.conf
frontend=xxxx.xxx.emc.com
primarybackend= xxxx.xxx.emc.com
additionalbackend_1=xxxx.xxx.emc.com
collector_1= xxxx.xxx.emc.com
Username: apg
New Password: changeme1234
Re-enter Password: changeme1234
Windows
Example: dir program files\APG\hostnames.conf
frontend=xxxx.xxx.emc.com
primarybackend= xxxx.xxx.emc.com
additionalbackend_1=xxxx.xxx.emc.com
collector_1= xxxx.xxx.emc.com
Username: apg
New Password: changeme1234
Re-enter Password: changeme1234
PASSAGGIO 2:
Linux
Eseguire lo script come riportato di seguito:
xxxxxx:/opt/APG/bin # ./launch-update-backend-passwords.sh -c /opt/APG/hostnames.conf
Username: apg
New Password: changeme1234
Re-enter Password: changeme1234
Windows
xxxxxx: \program files\APG\bin launch-update-backend-passwords.cmd -c program files \APG\hostnames.conf
Username: apg
New Password: changeme1234
Re-enter Password: changeme1234
Al termine, accedere al database MySQL utilizzando la nuova password mediante lo script mysql-client.

- Nota: se si modifica la password "root", modificarla in tutti i server prima di tentare la modifica per "apg".
- Nota: eseguire la procedura descritta in precedenza per modificare la password predefinita dopo l'aggiunta di un nuovo server backend. Protezione del database MySQL
Al termine, accedere al database MySQL utilizzando la nuova password mediante lo script mysql-client.
