Symptoms

vProxy VM 백업이 실패하고 다음 오류가 발생합니다.

Backup has failed: Backup has FAILED. Failed to backup virtual disk "Hard disk 2". Failed to finalize writer. Incomplete synthesis, only moved 131072 of 135397376 bytes, from previous data file from offset 0 to target data file
참고: 보고하는 디스크 번호는 일반적으로 VM의 마지막 디스크입니다.

 

Cause

이 문제는 VM에 동일한 VM에 씬 디스크와 씩 프로비저닝된 디스크가 혼합되어 있을 때 나타납니다.

게스트 OS: Windows Server 2016 이상(64비트)
호환성: ESXi 6.0 이상(VM 버전 11)

하드 디스크 1
용량 100GB
유형 씬 프로비저닝

하드 디스크 2
용량 100GB
유형 씩 프로비저닝 레이지 제로화

 

Resolution

모든 디스크가 동일한 유형이 되도록 VM을 다시 구성합니다. 예: 씬 프로비저닝.

해결 방법:

  1. VM에 대한 VMware CBT(Change Block Tracking) 비활성화

  2. VM을 재부팅합니다.

  3. (VMware vSphere vMotion) VM을 새 데이터 저장소로 마이그레이션합니다.

  4. VM의 VMware 스냅샷을 생성합니다.

  5. VMware 스냅샷을 삭제합니다.

  6. "마지막 vproxy 백업 세션" 정보를 정리합니다.

  7. VM의 레벨 전체 백업을 수행합니다.
