Dell Command | Update does not find and install applications.

Cause

Dell Command | Update can only be used to update drivers and applications. When there is no previous version of a driver or application present on the computer, it cannot install it.

Resolution

This is working as intended. For drivers, you can run the advanced driver restore in Dell Command | Update to install a baseline of drivers, but applications must be installed manually.
