PowerFlex 3.X: How to configure network settings in PowerFlex Manager templates
Summary: This article defines how to configure network settings in the templates to match the various logical network designs that exist for PowerFlex Rack and Appliance systems.
Instructions
Logical network reference template settings
Use this procedure to configure the network settings in PowerFlex Manager templates for the desired logical network configurations.
Procedure
- Do the following steps to clone the template:
- On the PowerFlex Manager menu bar, click Templates, and click Add a Template.
- In the Add a Template wizard, click Clone an existing PowerFlex Manager template.
- From the Category drop-down list, select Sample Templates.
- From Template to be Cloned drop-down list, select the template that matches the service you want to deploy, and click Next.
- On the Template Information page, enter the Template Name and select Create New Category from the Template Category drop-down list.
- Enter Prod in New Category Name and click Next.
- On the Additional Settings page, provide new values for the Network Settings, OS Settings, Cluster Settings, PowerFlex Gateway Settings, and Node Pool Settings.
- Click Finish.
The cloned template is added to the list on the Template page.
- Click the cloned template.
- Click the node icon and click Edit.
- Verify the number of nodes to deploy per template deployment and click Continue.
- Edit the parameters as per the table below for your desired networking configuration:
