Symptoms
Below error is encountered when initiating migration:


Cause
On Appliance Migration wizard migration recommendation is created based on the user's selection of all objects or specific ones. Failure can be due to appliance level issues or the selected objects. If the migration recommendation fails - CP returns a general error that does not specify the real issue and thus the user will not know how to proceed.
Resolution
The resolution is to change the message in the GUI that will explain that there are two levels of errors (appliance & objects), specify the errors in the appliance level (there are just few) and have a link to KB article that will list the potential errors on the objects level.

- 0xE0201009001C[validation_error]=Migration session is not allowed for volume: {0} in a volume_group.
- 0xE0201009001F[validation_error]=Migration session cannot be deleted because resource {0} of type {1} is being deleted. Retry the operation after the resource has been deleted.
- 0xE02010090023[validation_error]=Migration session is not allowed for volume group family: {0} with read write snapshot.
- 0xE02010090030[validation_error]=All the sibling clones of a volume {0} must be part of their own volume group {1}, they cannot be mixed with their parent clones or primary volumes.
- 0xE02010090031[validation_error]=Member {0} of family {1} is under import.
- 0xE02010090032[validation_error]=Primary volumes or clones that are participating in the volume groups cannot have parents (clone or primary volume) or clones outside of the volume group.
- 0xE02010090033[validation_error]=Clone {0} and its parent {1} cannot be part of the same volume group {2} for migration of family {3}.
- 0xE02010090051[validation_error]=This operation cannot be performed because one or more members in the resource's family are in an offline state.
