detailed_description
Determines default value that will be used for the shares where no specific umask is specified. 
The default setting for this parameter is 0x12 (octal 022). 
Umask with 022 means rw-r--r-- for file creation and rwxr-xr-x for directories.

Ovenstående resultat angiver, at denne parameter er en global parameter, og at en genstart af NAS-serveren er nødvendig, for at indstillingen kan træde i kraft.
Det kræver dog SP-genstart for at få ændringen til at træde i kraft.
  1. Skift indstillinger.
Hvis umask-værdien skal være 000, skal du indstille værdien til 0. 
svc_nas ALL -param -facility ftpd -modify umask -value 0
Hvis værdien på umask skal være 222, skal du indstille værdien til 146.
Oktal = 222 decimaltal = 146 
svc_nas ALL -param -facility ftpd -modify umask -value 146
