Symptoms
Error SUP0527 is reported when attempting to run hard drive or SSD firmware from the LifeCycle Controller (LCC).
Cause
This is working as designed. Hard drive or SSD firmware cannot be updated using DUP packages through the LCC.
Resolution
You can update the drive firmware using:
- Using DUP in the iDRAC - See iDRAC firmware updates
