Symptoms

Un backup Hyper-V viene visualizzato nell'interfaccia utente di Avamar Administrator o AUI come Completato con eccezioni.

I registri segnalano i seguenti messaggi di avvertenza:
  
avhypervvss Warning : GUID '11111-AAAA-2222-3333-444444' for target 'TESTVM' not matching with any available target(s) on the host(s)
avhypervvss Warning : Target virtual machine 'TESTVM' is not matching to any available targets. Please check GUID and Target name against available targets on the host(s) Skipping from backup.
avhypervvss Warning : The following Virtual Machines have failed:
avhypervvss Warning : [1] TESTVM

Cause

I messaggi si verificano quando si selezionano manualmente le VM di cui eseguire il backup nel dataset.

Quando la VM (insieme al GUID) è stata originariamente selezionata nel dataset, il GUID (VMID) della VM era quindi diverso da quello che è ora. 

Il GUID potrebbe essere stato modificato manualmente oppure la VM è stata ricreata con un nuovo GUID.

Resolution

  1. Modificare la scheda Dati di origine nel dataset. 
  2. Rimuovere la VM guasta
  3. Sfogliare e selezionare nuovamente la stessa VM nel dataset.
