Symptoms

  • vProxy 백업 로그에 다음 오류가 표시됩니다.
Backup has FAILED. Unable to create snapshot. Unable to create non-quiesced snapshot after a retry attempt: An error occurred while saving the snapshot: Could not open or create change tracking file.

 

  • vProxy snapshot-mgr log(\opt\emc\vproxy\runtime\logs\vbackupd\vbackupd-snapmgr.log)에 동일한 오류가 표시됩니다.
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:SS ERROR:  Snapshot creation task failed: An error occurred while saving the snapshot: Could not open or create change tracking file.

Resolution

CBT(Change Block Tracking) 파일은 VM이 실행 중인 ESXi 호스트에 의해 생성되고 제어됩니다. NetWorker는 스냅샷 요청자이며, VMware는 백업에 사용되는 스냅샷을 생성하고 삭제합니다. NetWorker는 스냅샷 문제를 해결하거나 우회할 수 없습니다.
