Symptoms

Błędy zgłaszane podczas tworzenia tradycyjnej puli przy użyciu dwóch różnych typów dysków z graficznego interfejsu użytkownika Dell EMC Unity z kodem OE 5.2 przedstawiono poniżej:
"Nieprawidłowa liczba dysków została dostarczona dla określonej konfiguracji RAID lub liczba dysków nie odpowiada domyślnej konfiguracji RAID dla dysków w grupie dysków. Error: Kod (0x6700171)"


Podczas próby utworzenia puli z różnymi typami dysków oczekiwany jest następujący błąd:

uemcli -d  -u Local/admin -p  /stor/config/pool create -name  -diskGroup dg_26 -drivesNumber 45 -storProfile tprofile_2 -type traditional

uemcli -d  -u admin -securepassword /stor/config/profile -traditional -configurable show -storProfile tprofile_1, tprofile_19 -type traditional

Please input your selection (The default selection is [1]): Operation failed. Error code: 0x1000401
The object was not found with "Pool0". (Error Code:0x1000401)

 

Cause

Tradycyjne tworzenie puli z graficznego interfejsu użytkownika nie jest osiągalne z kodu Dell EMC Unity OE 5.2.0. To samo można skonfigurować tylko za pomocą metody CLI przy użyciu uemcli.
 

Resolution

W pierwszym kroku należy skonfigurować tradycyjną pulę z tylko dyskiem flash lub najwyższą dostępną warstwą (typ dysku), po pomyślnym utworzeniu puli można ją rozwinąć dalej z Unisphere za pomocą dysku SAS lub NL SAS.

Etapy konfigurowania tradycyjnej puli za pośrednictwem interfejsu wiersza poleceń:

  1. uemcli /stor/config/dg show >>Shows the Disk Groups available in the system 
  2. uemcli /stor/config/profile -traditional -configurable show >> Pokazuje profile dostępne w systemie
  3. uemcli -d -u Local/admin -p /stor/config/pool create -name -diskGroup -drivesNumber < drive_number > -storProfile tprofile_x -type traditional
