Administrative Installation Using Active Directory

Microsoft Windows supports administrative installation of programs using Active Directory. Administrative installs may require the use of a .msi file. Unless you are performing an administrative install through Active Directory, you should use the .exe versions of the installers accessible on the download page.

Dell EqualLogic Host Integration Tools for Microsoft (HIT Microsoft) integrates with Microsoft ISCSI initiator and provides seamless dynamically managed OEM multipath (MPIO).

Dell EqualLogic Host Integration Tools for Microsoft (HIT Microsoft) simplify the configuration and administration of Dell EqualLogic PS Series storage arrays on Microsoft Windows computers.

HIT Microsoft v5.1 supports the following:

  • Support for PS Series firmware version 10.0.0
  • Support for Microsoft SQL Server 2017
  • Support for HIT ME Client and Server communicates on Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 Protocol
  • Support for GUI-based EqualLogic MPIO Configuration Tool
  • Support for SCVMM 2016
