Data Protection Advisor: Unable to assign site attributes to PPDM objects

Symptoms

The Data Protection Advisor (DPA) user interface Site Attribute is not available when viewing Power Protect Data Manager (PPDM) properties.

In DPA navigate to > Inventory > Object Library > Applications.
Select a PPDM object and click the PROPERTIES button.
Select the Custom Attributes tab.
Site Attribute is not available.

If NetWorker and/or Avamar are also monitored through DPA the Site Attribute will be available for these components, but not PPDM.

Cause

This was identified as a bug in the DPA Server software.

Resolution

Resolved in DPA Server version 19.8 patch 33 and higher.
