Symptoms

  • NMDA DB2 備份失敗，並在 NetWorker 管理主控台 （NMC） 中回報下列錯誤：
Unable to obtain the user credentials from the lockbox due to the following error: 'Authentication denied'.ERROR: Error retrieving password from the Networker lockbox.

NMDA backup failed.

72104:nsrdasv: ERROR: Error retrieving password from the Networker lockbox.
  • 您可以從 Policy->Workflow->Backup 動作詳細資料中觀察到此輸出。選取失敗的備份，然後按一下「顯示訊息」。

Cause

DB2 用戶端上的 root 帳戶沒有訪問鎖定框檔案的許可權。

Resolution

1.以系統管理員帳戶 （或具有應用程式管理員許可權的帳戶） 身分登入 NetWorker 管理主控台。
2.前往 伺服器>Lockbox。
3.在 Lockboxes 視窗中，開啟 DB2 用戶端的 Lockbox 內容。
4.在「 General 」標籤中，更新「Users」欄位以包含「user=root，host=client_name」

5.按一下「OK」以儲存變更。
6.重新執行備份
