Symptoms

Issue:
  • DD FileSystem (DDFS) cannot be created on DD6400 during initial configuration.
Applies to:
  • DD6400 only
  • All DDOS Versions
Symptoms:
  • During initial deployment, a DD6400 fails to create DDFS due to issues with NVRAM.
  • The system displays all Disks as "in use" even though the Active Tier is not created.

  •  Attempts to create the DDFS (# filesys create) fail with the following error:
**** The available HDD does not meet the requirements to create a File System.
8 HDD devices are required to be added in Head Unit to create the File System.
