NetWorker: Virtual Machine FLR mislukt consequent met de melding "Could not get the directory content..."

• De VM's die faalden voor FLR met de bovenstaande symptomen, gebruiken Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS).
• Microsoft DFS is een Windows-bestandssysteemfunctie waarmee gebruikers een naamruimte kunnen maken van gedeelde mappen die fysiek over een netwerk zijn gedistribueerd. Met DFS kunnen gebruikers een groep gedistribueerde directory's op logische wijze organiseren, volgens elk schema dat ze kiezen, om gecentraliseerde toegang te bieden tot bestanden die zich op verschillende locaties bevinden.

• NetWorker NVP vProxy - Virtual Machine File Level Recovery (FLR) biedt geen ondersteuning voor Windows Distributed File System (DFS).
• Dell Engineering heeft vastgesteld dat vProxy FLR geen ondersteuning biedt voor het Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS)
• Een toekomstige release van NetWorker VMware Integration Guide voor versies 19.8 en 19.9 is gepland om deze beperking op te lossen.

Tijdelijke oplossing:

1. Start File Level Recovery (FLR) vanuit de NMC-UI (NetWorker Management Console).
2. Koppel File Level Recovery (FLR) in NetWorker Management Console (NMC) UI Titel van pagina Herstelpagina: Koppel de opslagset voor herstel op bestandsniveau
3. Laat het FLR-koppelpunt (File Level Recovery) in de gekoppelde staat staan in de NMC-gebruikersinterface (NetWorker Management Console).
4. Gebruik Windows Verkenner om de inhoud van de map te kopiëren en te plakken op de Distributed File System (DFS) Target Virtual Machine (VM).
