Connectrix B-Series: Firmware Download fails when upgrading from version 9.0.x to 9.2 due to TruFOS validation failed.
Summary: Firmware download fails with the message: ERROR: TruFOS validation failed. Install a valid TruFOS and run firmware download again.
Symptoms
When installing using the Command-Line Interface the following error is displayed:

Firmwaredownload failed.Cause
Brocade TruFOS Certificates are required on the following Brocade platforms beginning with Fabric OS v9.1.0:
- Brocade Gen 6 Directors
- Brocade Gen 7 Directors
- Brocade Gen 6 G630 (switch types 173 and 184)
From the following commands output, notice that there is no TruFOS installed and the current FOS is 9.0.1e1, and determine the switchType from the switchshow output.

Generate a TruFOS license as per knowledge base article (KBA):

Once the TruFOS .xml file is generated, save the certificate in the FTP/SCP/SFTP directory and install it to the switch with the use of KBA:
