PowerEdge: Marvell QL41262 link speed shows "Unknown" in the iDRAC9 UI when three partitions are enabled

Summary: iDRAC version 6.10.00.00 and later, when 3 out of 4 partitions are enabled on a Dell Marvell QL41262 adapter, the iDRAC user interface displays the link speed as "Unknown."

Symptoms

When looking at the network interface controller (NIC) information in the iDRAC user interface (UI), the QL41262 displays an "Unknown" link speed. The disabled fourth partition can also show as "Up."

Cause

This is cosmetic and has no impact on link speed or NIC functionality.

Resolution

Fixed in iDRAC version 7.10.30.00

Workarounds:
Enable the fourth partition on the QL41262 adapter.
Downgrade iDRAC to a version earlier than 6.10.00.00
