Instructions

PowerProtect Data Manager does not use the full available network bandwidth with one VM backup or some VM backups. To fully reach network bandwidth utilization, a user must run many backup jobs. The theoretical maximum throughput from a 10 Gbps network is 1 GB per second.

See the PowerProtect Data Manager 19.15 Virtual Machine User Guide. This discusses Transparent Snapshots Data Mover performance to optimize the TSDM backup performance.
