Instructions

To check the cluster health:
  1. Open an SSH connection on any node in the cluster and log in using the "root" account.
  2. Run the following command
# isi status

Cluster Name: Test
Cluster Health: [ OK ]
Storage Efficiency: 0.83 : 1
Cluster Storage: HDD SSD Storage
Size: 344.4G (469.8G Raw) 0 (0 Raw)
VHS Size: 125.4G
Used: 18.5G (5%) 0 (n/a)
Avail: 325.9G (95%) 0 (n/a)

     Health Fields: D = Down, A = Attention, S = Smartfailed, R = Read-Only

Critical Events:
Time LNN Event
--------------- ---- -------------------------------------------------------

From the above output we see that the Cluster Health: [OK] is good and there are no outstanding Critical Events as well.

To check for any outstanding alerts on the entire cluster, you can run the below command.

# isi event groups list --resolved=false
ID Started Ended Causes Short Lnn Events Severity
---------------------------------------------------------------------
3072 12/17 00:55 -- QUOTA_INTERNAL_ERROR 1 9 warning
4105 12/20 01:11 -- QUOTA_NOTIFY_FAILED 3 6 information
---------------------------------------------------------------------

To clear a particular event.

# isi event groups modify --resolved=yes --ignore=yes --id=<Group ID from above command >

Eg : isi event groups modify --resolved=yes --ignore=yes --id=3072

To clear all the old alerts on the entire cluster.

For OneFS 7.x.x.x and Above

# isi events cancel all
# isi events quiet all
For OneFS 8.x.x.x and above

# isi event bulk --ignore=true
# isi event bulk --resolved=true
