Symptoms
Het touchpad van de Latitude of Precision laptop werkt mogelijk onregelmatig of wordt geactiveerd wanneer niemand het touchpad aanraakt. De muiscursor beweegt zelfstandig over het scherm in het Windows-besturingssysteem. Het probleem doet zich voor wanneer het LCD-deksel wordt gesloten nadat de laptop is opgestart met een aan/uit-knop op de palmsteun.

- Latitude 5420
- Latitude 5520
- Precision 3560
Cause
Uit onderzoek is gebleken dat het uitschakelsignaal niet actief is op de touchpad, waardoor de touchpad ingeschakeld blijft na het sluiten van de klep.
Resolution
Voor de Latitude 5420 kunt u het probleem oplossen door een update naar BIOS-versie 1.36.2 of hoger op de computer. Voor Latitude 5520 en Precision 3560 kunt u het probleem oplossen door een update naar BIOS-versie 1.41.0 of hoger op de computer. Raadpleeg de BIOS-updatehandleiding voor het downloaden en installeren van het BIOS.
