Symptoms

RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines 不支持 VMware vSphere API 阵列集成 （VAAI）。当 RP4VMs 受保护的虚拟机 （VM） 发出 VAAI 命令时，这些命令将被拒绝并作为标准 I/O 重新发送。这些拒绝通常在执行批量回收存储容量的 VAAI UNMAP 命令时出现。  

当发出 VAAI 命令，然后被拒绝时，该事件将记录在 RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines 拆分器日志和 ESXi 主机的vmkernel.log中。如果受保护的虚拟机发出大量 VAAI 命令，则拒绝打印可能会使 ESXi 主机日志变得混乱，从而妨碍调查。

Cause

RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines 不支持 VMware vSphere API 阵列集成 （VAAI）。一旦被拒绝，命令将作为标准 I/O 重新发送。

Resolution

解决方法：
可以在虚拟机或 ESXi 主机级别上禁用 VAAI。由于这些日志打印的影响较小，建议在尽可能有限的容量范围内禁用 VAAI。
要在 ESXi 级别禁用 VAAI，请遵循 Broadcom 知识库 https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/318224/disabling-the-vaai-functionality-in-esxi.html。

也可以在受保护虚拟机的来宾操作系统中进行更改，Dell Technologies 无法提供针对所有情况禁用的确切说明。
