Symptoms
On computers that are released after September 2024, the User Presence Detection feature will not longer be located in the MyDell software.
Cause
MyDell no longer controls User Presence Detection when Microsoft Presence Sensing is present.
Resolution
Microsoft Presence Sensing
Instead of using User Presence Detection in the MyDell software, you must use Microsoft Presence Sensing that is available in Windows 11 (version 23H2 and newer).

Note: To check if presence detection is supported:
Select the Start Button, then enter Settings. Select Settings > System > Power & battery > *On the *Power & Battery Screen. Select Screen and Sleep > Automatically turn off my screen when I leave.
If the option is seen, then Presence Detection is supported.
