Symptoms

 

Alienware AW2724DM Monitor screen looks washed out after HDR is turned on due to a Dark Stabilizer issue.

  1. HDR is initially turned off in the system.
  2. Dark Stabilizer is turned on in the On-Screen Display (OSD) 1 to 3.

  3. HDR is turned on in the system.

Outcome: Dark Stabilizer is disabled in the OSD, but the screen looks washed out.
