Clear the SEL logs, then run ePSA and select only Processors. Choose Thorough Mode along with pressing F2 and setting the loop count to ZERO. The test runs infinitely until they fail or the user ends the test themselves.
Action Plan
Connect to the Server using iDRAC and select Maintenance > System Event Log
Click Clear to delete SEL.
Click Confirm to clear the SEL.
Reboot the server and enter Lifecycle Controller with F10.
Select Hardware Diagnostics from the menu.
Select Run Hardware Diagnostics to start the diagnostics.
Diagnostics start running automatically. Press the ESC key to stop testing.
Click the right arrow as shown below.
Select Processor and click Thorough Test Mode then select Start Tests to start testing.
Immediately Press F2 to set the Test Iterations (loop count) to 0 (ZERO).
The test now runs infinitely until it fails or you stop it at any time with ESC.
Provide the results if an error or "CPU reset" can be triggered.
