Symptoms

When opening the LCD lid, the screen display scale changes for about 1 to 3 seconds and change back to normal. This behavior happens when the LCD's "Lid Close" setting is set to "Do Nothing."

Cause

This behavior is caused by the Microsoft User Interface (UI).

Resolution

Close LCD Lid Power Management

There is no functional impact to this behavior and will change back to normal.

If you want to avoid this behavior, go to Windows power management and set the "Lid Close" setting to "Sleep, Hibernate, or Shut Down."
