Network Disconnection Issues on Intel Ethernet Connection I219-LM

Symptoms
The computer shows a network icon with a warning sign, such as No Internet or Limited Access. The computer is unable to connect to online services or use network resources. The RJ45 port LEDs may not light up.

Cause
This issue may be related to the Auto Negotiation setting in the adapter configuration.
Resolution
Note: Before starting the update, perform the following:
- Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to Back Up and Recovery.
- Connect the AC adapter if updates are being run on a laptop.
- Ensure that power remains connected if updates are being run on a desktop.
Updating the Intel LAN driver to version 20.0.3.16 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the driver refer to the Driver Update Guide.
