現象
Hyper-V RCT backups complete successfully, but Event warning 30923 messages are displayed in the Avamar Administrator console:
2022/06/14-20:01:11 CDT 30000 INFO ave01 Activity completed successfully.
2022/06/14-20:01:11 CDT 30000 INFO ave01 Activity completed successfully.
2022/06/14-20:01:11 CDT 30923 WARN ave01 Client NAH activity with non-unique sessionid for clientname HyperV-av and pidnumber 3001
原因
The behavior can be caused by a script running between the client and Avamar server.
This client tries to initiate more than one concurrent activity, but MCDB cannot guarantee it generates a unique session ID.
The "NAH" in these messages stands for "Naked Ad Hoc backup". These are manually run backups, or backups runs using a script.

解決方法
These MCS warning messages can be ignored.
To suppress the warning messages from being displayed in Avamar Administrator UI:
Add flag --x03=512 to the avtar.cmd file. This file can be found in the shared var directory C:\ClusterStorage\Volume10\Ava_hv\var and in C:\Program Files\avs\var on each cluster node. If avtar.cmd file does not exist, manually create it using Notepad.

その他の情報
While doing the incremental backup, there is one NAH activity that is used to restore the inode2hash table from the server. All this NAH activity uses the same session id.
If multiple manual CLI commands or using a script attempts both backup and restore on the same inode2hash table, using the same session id, MC gives a warning event saying "NAH activity with non-unique session id".
The avtar flag x03=512 suppresses sending the session info for the backup or restore job.
