Symptoms

Avamar 垃圾数据收集过程失败，并显示; 
ERROR: <4202> failed garbage collection with error MSG_ERR_BADTIMESYNC

 

Cause

一个或多个 Avamar 数据节点和应用工具节点之间的时间未同步。
这会导致 Avamar 维护活动失败。

Resolution

解决方法：
1.通过 putty 会话登录 Avamar。加载管理员密钥。
请参阅 Avamar：如何登录 Avamar Server 并加载各种密钥

2.检查时间跨所有 Avamar 节点同步。有关示例输出，请参阅 附录 A 。
  
mapall --all --parallel 'date'


如果时间未同步

3.按照 Avamar 操作：如何在 Avamar Server 上更改 NTP 使用 asktime 跨所有节点同步时间。

4.确认垃圾数据收集是否成功完成。
