Removing the display hinges

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
    3. WLAN Card
    4. display assembly
    5. antenna cover
  3. Peel off the tape to access the screws on the display hinges.

  4. Remove the screws that secure the display hinges to the display assembly.
  5. Carefully lift the display hinges off the display assembly.
