Disabling multifactor authentication on the crso account
Reset the crso password to disable multifactor authentication.
About this task
If multifactor authentication is enabled and the crso is unable to provide the security code, changing the crso password also disables multifactor authentication.
Steps
From the
CRCLI, type one of the following commands to change the crso password:
crsetup.sh --changepassword
crsetup.sh -w
When prompted, enter
y to continue with the change.
The script stops the Docker container services.
When prompted if you want to change lockbox passphrase, type
n.
The script skips to the prompt to change the MongoDB password.
When prompted if you want to change the MongoDB password, type
n.
The script skips to the prompt to change the crso password.
When prompted, enter and confirm the new crso password.
The passwords are changed, and the Docker container services start again.
NOTE:If you enter an incorrect password twice at the confirmation prompt, the script makes no changes and restarts the services.
Enable multifactor authentication again.
