Emergency user lockout

If a Cyber Recovery user account is locked and the user requires immediate access, a security officer can use the Cyber Recovery UI, CLI, or REST API to grant a new password and unlock that account.

Prerequisites

You must be logged in as a security officer.

Steps

  1. Log in to the Cyber Recovery UI.
  2. From the Main Menu, click Administration > Users.
  3. At the top of the content pane, click Disabled Users.
  4. Select the check box next to the user who requires access.
  5. Click Enable to unlock the user account.

  6. Click Enabled Users and select the newly enabled user.
  7. Click Edit and set a new password.
