policy modify

Use the policy modify command to modify a policy that is configured in the Cyber Recovery system. Only an admin user can access this command.

Syntax

crcli policy modify --policyname <policy name> [--disable][--enable][--enforcereplwindow {true | false}][--mgmtddReplEthInterface <replication interface>][--newpolicykname <name>][--polictype {Standard | PPDM}][--replwindow <days or hours>][--retlockautomatic {true | false}][--retlockduration <lenght of time>][--retlocktype {governance | compliance |governance-disabled}][--retlockmax <days or hours>][--retlockmin <days or hours>][--securityuser <username>][--tags tag text]

Parameters

--disable, -r
(Optional) Disables a policy
--enable, -e
(Optional) Enables a policy
--enforcereplwindow, -l {true | false}
(Optional) Enforces the job window timeout (default is false)
--mgmtddReplEthInterface, -i <replication interface>
(Optional) The replication interface that is associated with the replication context
--newpolicyname, -p <name>
(Optional) A new name for the policy
--policyname, -n <policy name>
(Required) The name of the policy that you want to modify
--policytype, -t {Standard | PPDM}
(Optional) The type of new policy
--replwindow, -r <timeout value>
(Optional) The replication window timeout value. The default value is -1.
--retlockautomatic, -a {true | false}
(Optional) Enables the automatic retention lock feature
--retlockduration , -d <days or hours>
(Optional) The retention lock duration time (the default is 12 hours for both compliance and governance mode)
--retlockmax, -x <days or hours>
(Optional) The retention lock maximum time value (the default value is 45 days for governance and compliance mode)
--retlockmin, -m <days or hours>
(Optional) The retention lock minimum time value (the default is 12 hours for both compliance and governance mode)
--retlocktype, -y {governance | compliance |governance-disabled}
(Optional) The type of retention lock to configure (the default is governance)
--securityuser , -u <username>
(Required for initial Retention Lock Compliance replication context configurations and for compliance retention lock operations) The DD Storage Security Officer (SO) username. This parameter is required if you are configuring a policy with a Retention Lock Compliance replication context for the first time and running DD OSS 7.8.
--tags <tag text>
(Optional User-defined tags for the policy
