Syntax

crcli user add --username <username> --role <user role> --email <email address> [--alertnotification <alert type>][--firstname <first name>][--lastname <last name>][--phone <phone number>] 

Parameters

--alertnotification, -a <notification type>

(Optional) The type of email notification that the user receives: critical or warning

--email, -e <email address>

(Required) The email address of the user

--firstname, -f <first name>

(Optional) The first name of the user

--lastname, -l <lastname>

(Optional) The last name of the user

--phone, -p <phone number>

(Optional) The phone number of the user

--role, -r <user role>

(Required) The role for the user: admin, dashboard, or security-officer

--username, -u <username>

(Required) The username of the Cyber Recovery user

NOTE:You cannot reuse the username of a deleted user when you add a new user.

Example

When you run the command, the system prompts you for a password for the user.

[root@cr-system]# crcli users add --username Bsmith --role admin --email Bsmith@acme.com --phone 123-456-7890

password requirements:
  - new password must be different from the previous password
  - between 9-64 characters
  - minimum of 1 lowercase character (a-z)
  - minimum of 1 uppercase character (A-Z)
  - minimum of 1 number (1-9)
  - minimum of 1 special character: (~!@#$%^&*()+={}|:";<>?[]-_.,^')
