Manually securing and releasing the Cyber Recovery vault

Usually, Dell Technologies recommends that you open and close the Cyber Recovery vault by running jobs for the policies. However, if a network event occurs when the Cyber Recovery vault is open, a security officer or admin user can secure the Cyber Recovery vault manually to secure the environment. The secure Cyber Recovery vault action runs immediately to switch the Cyber Recovery vault to a secured state. The The Secured icon icon indicates that the Cyber Recovery vault has been manually secured and locked, as shown in the following figure:

After you secure the Cyber Recovery vault manually and complete the inspection of the network, release the Cyber Recovery vault to resume normal operations. Only a security officer can release the vault.

The The locked icon icon indicates that the Cyber Recovery vault is operating normally and is locked, as shown in the following figure:
