CAUTION: Before providing DC power, ensure the voltage and polarity provided are compatible with the DC input. Improper input voltage or polarity can be responsible for system damage.
Steps
Locate the DC power connector that is included in the Accessory Box, as shown in the following figure.

NOTE:If the connector is damaged or needs replacement, use the DECA MPC101-76202P.
Insert the DC power connector into the DC Power Input, as outlined in the red rectangle in the following figure, and secure it to the chassis using the captive screws. Connect the chassis ground screw, as shown in the red circle, to an appropriate grounding point.

Connect a DC power source to the inputs of the DC power connector, making sure to use the correct input voltage and polarity. Use an approved power source as certified by IEC or UL.

Insert the wires into the two holes of the connector, as shown in the following figure.

Tighten the set screws above the holes to clamp down on the wires and secure them to the connector.
If you are connecting wires to the power connector from an AC-to-DC adapter (offered separately), look for information on the adapter itself or the packaging that explains which wire colors are used for positive and negative. In the example shown in the following figure, the wire colors are explained on the label sticker of the adapter.
