Removing system board

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. SIM card
   2. base cover
   3. battery
   4. memory module
   5. hard drive
   6. SSD card
   7. SSD frame
   8. WLAN card
   9. WWAN card (optional)
   10. keyboard lattice
   11. keyboard
   12. heat sink
   13. chassis frame
   14. system fan
3. Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
   1. Touchpad cable [1]
   2. USH cable [2]
   3. LED board cable [3]
   4. Speaker cable [4]
      
4. To release the system board:
   1. Flip over the system and remove the two M2x3 screw that secure the display cable bracket in place [1].
   2. Lift the metal display cable bracket from the system [2].
   3. Disconnect the display cables from the connectors on the system board [3,4] and peel the adhesive tape securing the display cable to the system.
   4. Disconnect the power connector port cable from the connector on the system board [5].
   5. Remove the two M2x5 screws that secure the Type-C USB bracket in place [6].
      NOTE: The metal bracket secures the DisplayPort over USB Type-C.
   6. Lift the metal bracket away from the system [7].
   
5. To remove the system board:
   NOTE: Ensure SIM card tray is removed
   1. Remove the four (M2x3) screws that secure the system board in place [1].
   2. Lift the system board away from the system [2].
