Installing the smart card reader
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the smart card reader and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align and place the smart card reader on the palm-rest assembly.
- Replace the two screws (M2x3) that secure the smart card reader to the palm-rest assembly.
- Connect the smart card reader cable to the connector on the USH board.
