Installing optical drive

  1. To install the optical drive:
    1. Close the front panel door.
    2. Insert the optical drive into the optical drive bay until it clicks into place.

    3. Open the front panel door [1].
    4. Route the cables under the drive cage.
    5. Connect the optical drive data cable and power cable to the connectors on the optical drive [2].

    1. Front bezel
    2. Side cover
  3. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.
