Enable multipathing on an ESXi host with iSCSI volumes

Perform the following steps to enable multipathing on the ESXi hosts with iSCSI volumes:

  1. Log in to the VMware vCenter Server, then click the ESXi host added.
  2. On the Configure tab, select Storage Devices.
  3. Perform a rescan of the storage devices.
  4. Select the iSCSI disk (Dell iSCSI disk) created in the Register an ESXi host with a configured software iSCSI adapter and create and map volumes procedure, then select the Properties tab below the screen.
  5. Click Edit Multipathing, then select Round Robin (VMware) from the drop-down list.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Repeat steps 4–6 for all the volumes that are presented from the Dell PowerVault ME4 Series storage system to the ESXi host.
