Removing the USB board

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery cover
    2. battery
    3. base cover
    4. hard drive
    5. keyboard
    6. palmrest
  3. To remove USB board:
    1. Disconnect the USB board cable from the computer [1].
    2. Remove the adhesive tape that secures USB board to the computer [2].
    3. Lift the USB board from the computer [3].
