Alternate Riser Installation
This section describes the installation of the alternate riser to the system board. The alternate riser 3 is required for the PCIe X 16 lane operating with the NVIDIA Quadro K4200 GPU. This provides the best performance for this card.
To install the alternate riser, complete the following steps:
- Remove any existing risers and GPU power cables from the chassis in slot 3.
- Insert and firmly press the alternate riser 3 into the appropriate slot on the motherboard until it is seated properly.
