Removing the camera

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery cover

    2. battery

    3. base cover

    4. hard drive

    5. keyboard

    6. palmrest

    7. display assembly

    8. display bezel

  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration.
    1. Disconnect the camera cable from the computer [1].
    2. Remove the camera module from the computer [2].
