Removing the speaker

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
  3. To remove the speaker:
    1. Disconnect the speaker cable [1].
    2. Unroute the cable from routing channel [2].
      Displays disconnecting the speaker cable and unrouting the cable
  4. Lift the speakers, along with the speaker cable, and remove it away from the back cover.
    Displays the removal of the speaker
