Installing hard drive backplane
Steps
- Use the hooks on the system as guides to align the hard drive backplane.
- Lower the hard drive backplane until the release tabs snap into place. If applicable, tighten the captive screws on the backplane.
Next steps
- Connect all the cables to the backplane.
- Install all the hard drives.
- Install the backplane cover.
- Install the cooling fan assembly.
- Install the air shroud.
