Dan Homolka
Dr Dan Homolka is a Services Director at Dell Technologies, based in the UK. Leading an EMEA wide team of technology consultants focusing on delivering end-user compute projects, mainly with the latest Microsoft desktop, deployment, and management technologies.
Earning his PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics at Imperial College, London, Dan spent the early part of his career as a software developer working on 3D modelling and simulation, before entering the world of IT sales. Prior to joining Dell Technologies in 2007 Dan spent time working in the IT reseller channel on large complex Datacentre Solutions, followed by a period in Open Source Software Support Sales, before moving into the world of End User Computing.
Dan enjoys the challenge of working with customers to find solutions to complex problems, and helping them on their transformational journeys, with a focus on providing great end-user outcomes. Frequently asked to support in building a vision and identifying opportunities for improvement that exist when considering the future of the workforce. Key areas of focus are the use of new technologies and their impact on the workplace and the workforce, as well as planning practical actions to prepare for changes in the way people work as part of company-wide future workplace strategies.
Outside of work, Dan spends much of his time trying to keep up with the family’s Working Cocker Spaniel when not indulging his passion for working on impractical cars and following motorsport, Formula 1 in particular. During the winter months he does his best not to hurt himself too badly whilst occasionally snowboarding.
