How to Replace the Coin Cell on OptiPlex 3090 Micro

This video will demonstrate the removal and reinstallation procedure of a coin cell on OptiPlex 3090 Micro.

To remove the coin cell battery, loosen the screw, securing the side cover and slide the cover off the device. Identify the IO module and remove the two screws securing it. Unplug the cables and remove the module.

Identify the coin cell battery and remove the latch securing it. Lift the coin cell up and away from the system. To reinstall the coin cell battery, place it back in the system and press it down until it clicks.

Place the IO module back in the system and plug in the cables. Install the 2 screws to secure it. Slide and secure the side cover back on with the screw.
