Dell Unity: Health Check error following an upgrade to Unity OE 5.5.3

Symptoms
After the Unity OE was upgraded to version 5.5.3, the health check reported the following error:
PUHC failure:
Data Movers: Checking Status............................................Fatal error detectedCause
The fatal error reported during the Pre-Upgrade Health Check (PUHC) occurs because the svc_connectivityservices -s command reports a failure.
Resolution
If any issues are identified in the results of the svc_connectivityservices -s or svc_supportassist -s commands, resolve the issues and then retry the health check.
