Symptoms

Durante l'operazione vProxy FLR, il mount ha esito negativo con errore:

Unable to validate guest credentials: ServerFaultCode: The guest operating system agent has been configured to disable the operation.

Cause

Sono state apportate modifiche alle impostazioni di VMware Tools per migliorare la sicurezza.

La voce seguente si trova nel file tools.conf disponibile in C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Tools.

Resolution

1. Rimuovere l'impostazione delle operazioni guest dal file tools.conf eseguendo l'hashing o l'eliminazione dal file C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Tools\tools.conf.
