Symptoms

When a wide ultra high definition (WUHD) display (for example, the Dell U4025QW) is connected to the HDMI or USB Type-C port of a dock with an AMD processor, the refresh rate of the display is limited to 60 Hz. The display is unable to refresh at 120 Hz.

  • Dell 14 Plus 2-in-1 DB04255
  • Dell Pro 13 Plus PB13255
  • Dell Pro 14 PC14255

Resolution

Connect the display directly to the computer to allow for a 120 Hz refresh rate.
